Beyond the White Coat
Beyond the White Coat is a Kern Medical Foundation initiative designed to help residents and fellows connect with the community they serve. Every day, they care for the health and well-being of Kern County residents. Through Beyond the White Coat, we invite them to become a part of that community by building meaningful relationships, discovering local opportunities, and exploring everything Bakersfield and Kern County have to offer. From housing and schools to local businesses, recreation, and civic leaders, the program showcases the people and resources that make this region a place to build not only a career, but a life. Our hope is that every participant leaves with stronger community connections and a vision for a future rooted right here in Kern County.
