This event is instrumental in uniting physicians, patients, families, and community members to raise awareness about Valley Fever. Kern County is the epicenter of the disease, representing over 10% of all cases nationwide.
The Valley Fever Walk plays a crucial role in supporting the lifesaving work of the Valley Fever Institute, where more patients are treated annually than anywhere else globally.
